Dr. Emily Inglesi
Psychotherapy
Career Counseling & Assessment
Psychotherapy: I specialize in working with professionals around navigating life transitions, which can be unsettling and challenging as well as exciting. My particular areas of interest and expertise include anxiety, career exploration and satisfaction, issues around identity, chronic health issues, relationship dynamics and depression. From career satisfaction to chronic and acute health issues to relationships, we all encounter transitions throughout our lives. With warmth and humor, I value collaborating with clients and strategizing ways to resolve issues related to transitions with more confidence and ease, with the goal of helping clients live a more valued life with decreased stress. I have extensive experience and interest in working with clients from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives.
Career Counseling & Assessment: I provide specialized and in-depth career counseling & assessment through my lens as a clinical psychologist, for early career professionals to seasoned professionals in transition to help you better understand yourself personally and professionally through assessment of skills, talents, interests, and emotional intelligence.
Before beginning my career as a psychologist, I was a journalist, photographer and editor, which allowed me to travel the world to learn and write about people and their traditions and stories. This part of my life has greatly influenced and enriched my work as therapist and has shaped my perspective of the therapeutic experience as a journey of self-discovery.

Psychotherapy Services
I strive to thoroughly understand and learn about factors and experiences that may lead to a client’s current challenges combined with individualized strategies to help manage subsequent stressors. I view therapy as a highly collaborative endeavor and value and respect the client’s choice to embark on a journey of leaning more about themselves and their world view.
Clients have reflected that my therapeutic style incorporates warmth, humor, and compassion, and I am keenly attuned to how varied life experiences inform who we are and how we engage with the world.
